Dust in the air, particularly in the grinding area of cast polymer production, has been a bugaboo of the industry since its inception. Gruber has come up with several solutions over the years, including our Dust Collection Systems with internal or external baghouses. Our newest Grind Booth features the Cartridge Dust Collection System that not only quickly and efficiently captures airborne dust particles, but also automatically “self-cleans” the filter media.

It is definitely an option to consider in areas where regulatory requirements no longer permit internal venting of baghouse or HEPA-Filter-equipped Grind Booths*. This quality Cartridge Dust Collection Ventilation System is provided with an automatic pulse cleaning system.

Pulses of compressed air automatically clean the cartridges by reverse pressurization. A preset solid state timer, that determines both frequency and duration of the pulses, controls the cleaning process. Repelled dust drops into trays at the bottom of the unit, and residual dust is periodically
disposed of.

The Grind Booth itself features heavy-duty sheet metal construction and includes three fluorescent light assemblies.  The booth is available in two widths and in the customer’s choice of no doors, one door, or two doors.

· Move your existing Baghouse filter system to outside the plant
· Buy a Cartridge system separately, and retrofit another Grind Booth
· Replace your existing Baghouse or HEPA filter equipped Grind Booth with a state-of-the-art Cartridge system
· Purchase a new Gruber Grind Booth with equipped Cartridge Dust Collection System
